HP Ink for $0.99 and Unlimited Ink Cartridges. Yes, Really!
For the past 18 months, I’ve been enjoying HP Instant Ink for less than a dollar a month. Yes, you read that right. I’ve been on their $0.99 month plan which features 15 pages printed each month (color or black and white). If you go over, no worries, the next set of 10 pages is only $0.99. And if you’re like me, the printing fluctuates in our home. The best part is, each month unused pages roll over so at the time of this post, I’ve got my standard 15 pages along with another 44 ‘roll over’ pages in my account.
So why is this plan any good? Well, for starters the first month is FREE when you sign up. Then depending on which plan you pick, you’ll get an allotment of pages that you can print. To get started, you’ll get a set of high capacity ink cartridges. And every time after that, when your printer starts running low on ink, HP will automatically ship out a box of replacement cartridges! No need to remember buying cartridges from now on, since the printer is connected to the HP, and no having to worry about running out of ink at the worst possible time.
With that, let’s work out the math on this. Typical cartridges range anywhere between $30 to $60, per color/cartridge. The low page plan (15 pages/month for $0.99) works for our family but it may not for you. The next plan up is 50 pages/month for $2.99 with a roll over limit of 150 pages. With the HP Instant Ink plan, I’ve saved at least $100 annually and not to mention the headache of going out to buy cartridges every time I am out of Cyan or Magenta or whatever the heck 🤪. Use our sign up link and you will get your first month FREE! Interested but you need a printer? Here are HP Instant Ink compatible printers. The one I have is the HP Officejet 6900 series that has AirPrint and I love the photos it prints as well.
